Arrive in Srinagar
Airport pickup, shikara transfer to your houseboat and an evening on the lake.
Srinagar
Mughal gardens, the old city, Jamia Masjid and a shikara ride through the floating markets.
Srinagar to Gulmarg
A short drive to Gulmarg. Gondola ride, meadows and, in winter, skiing.
Gulmarg to Pahalgam
Travel via the saffron fields of Pampore. Evening walk along the Lidder river.
Pahalgam
Betaab Valley, Aru Valley and Chandanwari, with optional pony rides.
Departure
Return to Srinagar and transfer to the airport.

Gulmarg's gondola closes in high wind and heavy snow. We build a buffer day into winter itineraries and refund unused activity tickets where the operator permits it.
Yes. The houseboats we use are registered, moored in established clusters on Dal Lake and Nigeen Lake, and staffed through the night.
